The (very) long awaited Infiniti M35h Hybrid is coming to dealership lots throughout North America, including Charles Barker Infiniti - 1875 Laskin Road Virginia Beach, VA.

A Nissan company, Infiniti's luxury branch has been working on hybrid technology to help those who are looking for a fast yet fuel-friendly sedan topping out around $54,000 USD (well over $60,000 in Canada). Your requests have been answered, as it looks like the Infiniti M35h will hit dealership lots later this Spring, 2011.

Infiniti says design and technology of the Infiniti M35h was inspired by an earlier concept, the Infiniti Essence, which was revealed in 2009 at the Geneva Motor Show.

The M35h will implement a gas-electric hybrid system, coupled with a very powerful V6 engine. The 3.5-liter V6 and electric motors help put out 360 horsepower. M35h's electric system alone will allow the vehicle to run 30 miles per gallon. That 30 mpg number is the highway estimate, not city. That measurement is around 27 mpg.
