The U.K. course hosting the fuel-efficiency competition ran a total distance of over 370 miles.  As if superseding its official fuel-consumption rating wasn't impressive enough, the Infiniti M35h also managed to complete half of it (roughly 180 miles) on pure electric power.

"Achieving low fuel consumption in the official tests might look impressive but helps no one if it is not readily achievable in real life."¹
