Luxury brand Infiniti understands not everyone is as privileged as their drivers. As such, when they're not scheming on their next opulent finishing touch or break-through innovation they're brainstorming ways to help to help those less fortunate.
The most recent evidence of Infiniti's commitment to offering a helping hand comes in the form of a $100,000 donation to the "Infiniti Coach's Charity Challenge" winner's charity of choice. And Charles Barker Infiniti is happy to report that eligible coaches are feeling more inspired to compete for the funds than ever before. Participation in this year's Challenge hosted by Infiniti, the NCAA and ESPN has risen from 14 participating NCAA Division I Men's Basketball coaches to 48!
The eight-week competition started on January 18. The winner? Chosen by NCAA Division I Basketball fans. During the first six weeks, there will be four brackets within which 12 coaches will compete. In week seven, the winning coaches from each of the 12 aforementioned brackets will go on to compete against each other in round two. Week eight is the final round.
On the luxury automaker's decision to host the "Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge", Ben Poore, VP, Infiniti Americas explains, "'The Infiniti Coaches' Challenge' is a way to add a greater level of support to our ongoing partnerships with the NABS and NCAA and their fine efforts in raising funds and support for their designated charities. It allows us to bring awareness to the outstanding community efforts of these respected coaches, and hopefully inspire fans to learn and give more to each charity on their own."1
