That's why we're enthused to share that a new member has joined the dedicated Infiniti luxury team: Johan de Nysschen.

Former president of Audi, Nysschen comes to Infiniti with 19 years of premium automotive experience and a strong desire to grow our favorite luxury brand on a global level. Based out of the automaker's new Hong Kong headquarters, Johan de Nysschen will serve as the senior vice president of the Infiniti parent brand and therefore be placed in charge of all Infiniti growth and development.

Andy Palmer, the Infiniti parent brand's executive vice president of product planning, remarks upon the excellent timing of Nysschen making the move to Infiniti. Palmer exclaims, "We have exciting and ambitious plans for improving the Infiniti brand including introducing new models in all markets where premium customer demand exists."¹

Specifically, Infiniti will begin creation of two Infiniti autos in China come 2014, one of which officials say will be an elongated variant of the Infiniti M sedan. All models produced for new global markets will be designed with local consumer demands and desires in mind.
